Final Portfolio
You will be compiling TEN different images (minimum) using Powerpoint to display/present your portfolio/class work. These images will be based upon the work we've done in class or a common theme.
If you're doing a theme, it is is up to you! Making sure it is school appropriate, you will use Illustrator and Photoshop to present a themed presentation using Powerpoint. In the past, students have done themes based on:
- What they have learned in this class - the different tools, methods and software used in graphic design.
- An aspect or job within the Commercial Art world - A job or career that provides information such as the amount of school required, benefits, pros and cons, job outlook, salary, sources provided.
- An art movement. Surrealism, Modern Art, Impressionism, etc.
- The student's personal art - Their photography, drawings, craft, etc., they make a compilation based on their own personal art work, providing their methods, skills, what they are drawn to.etc.
- What is your idea/theme?
Your Final Project for the class is worth 30% of your grade, so you want to do an amazing job!
Parameters:
- A minimum of 10 finished images, you will submit a .ppt file that will include your eight images and the project as a whole, your desktop, poster and logo MUST be included!
-Create a folder named your last name.
-Submit your desktop in the folder along with the powerpoint.
The folder will be submitted in D Chandler dropbox and is Due on Wednesday, 02/24/2016,
NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Images must "represent" your theme.
- Images must be unique and your own work, think about copyright!
- Images must be Clean, Crisp, and Completed.

If it ends up fitting into your trimester, I would love for your class to design the Little Mermaid posters. The info is in attached document. Disney is really particular about how the font type of their name as well as the dimensions of some of the billing information and all that info is included. Thanks again!

Final Sketch Check!
Next Friday, 5/13, will be our final sketch check.
We will be checking off the 10 Logos Visual Research Assignment along with the two Photo Analysis Worksheets. We will wrap up by checking our knowledge with our software and programs we have been using.
Lastly, we will try our hand at creating 3D images. This will be the last assignment from our books!

Applying our knowledge with the Bumper Sticker!
Using Illustrator, and Illustrator Only, make a one-of-a-kind original bumper sticker!
Use what you know and have learned to create a 10" wide 3" tall template and then customize it in Illustrator. The design and the contents are up to you, just make sure it is school appropriate. This is your design, so own it - Your sports nickname, team name, saying/slogan, a favorite saying or motto, political view, funny quote, etc. etc.
Parameters:
Size: 3"x10" CMYK
Use text, Symbols, Illustrator made clip-art, etc.
Must be a Vector Image and less than 20MB in size
Save as two different formats: a GIF and a JPG file type.
Drop into Chandler, P2 Hand-In folder.
